RAL INFORMATION
If you’re interested in any of the dog training course offerings below, please send us an email . If you have a class suggestion, preferred day, time or location, let us know. Classes range from 4 to 6 weeks long, and the total class fee generally breaks down to $25 per class.

CLASS OFFERINGS:
Hold Your Horses – a class in which dogs learn to control their own impulses, such as jumping up, dashing out doors, pulling on leash, grabbing a dropped item.
The Awesome Dog – an all around basic pet obedience class where dogs and pups learn cues such as sit, down, stand, stay, leash walking, and go to mat.
Tricks For Treats – a class for fun and mental enrichment where dogs learn tricks such as bow, roll over, crawl, and more. You can also earn a trick title with your dog!
Agility Light – an easy-going, but fun agility class for pet dogs and their owners to laugh and enjoy each other’s company while learning some traditional and not-so-traditional agility obstacles.
Games Dogs Play – in this class, you’ll laugh with your dog as you learn ways to employ his/her natural instincts through game playing. We use their noses, ball playing abilities, tugging, obedience behaviors, and more. Games can change a bored or destructive dog’s life and help owners better understand their canine family members.
S.T.A.R. Puppy – The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is a certification given to a puppy after completing this class. Puppies from 4 months to 1 year old are eligible for this pre-CGC certification. Sit, down, come, stay, are taught as well as handling, removing items from puppy, and other behaviors. (S.T.A.R.- Socialization, Training, Activity, Responsibility)
Canine Good Citizen – Would you like to earn a certification with your dog proving he/she is a good citizen? This class will help you prepare to take the test, which will be administered at the last class.

ES FOR ALL CLASSES: All classes are taught by Helen Verte Schwarzmann, CTC, CPDT-KA, CTDI. Please email LoveWagsATail@gmail.com or call 954-684-5288 for information on start dates. Dogs must be at least 4 months old and current on DHPP (Distemper and Parvo) and Rabies vaccines. Vaccination records must be brought to the first class. Dogs must have been in owner’s home for at least seven days and must be friendly towards dogs and people. The Trainer, at her discretion, may remove a dog from class if a hazard or threat of any nature to any other animal or person. The trainer may take photos and/or videos during classes for marketing purposes. Enrollment is limited to six students per class. Dogs should wear buckle, martingale, or quick release collars only. No prong or choke collars, please. Training is through positive reinforcement.
